So it's been a while... 2 years... so I guess I haven't been taking the whole music blog thing too seriously, although nobody reads this anyway so that doesn't really matter. I am back though because of the urging of a couple of friends and (mostly) because I've recently picked up a couple of pretty decent tracks for the sunny days we're starting to get.
The first one is by a band called MGMT (formally the Management) out of Brooklyn who are getting a lot of hype... this track is all over already but it's definitely worth a listen if you haven't picked it up yet... kind of a trip-poppy spring anthem

And the second is a triumphant fuckin b-sides that's an excellent driving song by personal favorites bloc party from the Weekend in the City sessions. (It's also mad biblical and shit.)
